The Osceola County Wagon Train & Trail Ride Inc. is proud to present our 27th year of providing a fun filled week of horseback riding with beautiful Florida scenery in a family oriented atmosphere. The 27th Annual Osceola County Wagon Train & Trail Ride will take place March 16 – March 22, 2015 in Harmony, FL just east of St. Cloud. This yearly event is considered to be one of the largest such trail rides east of the Mississippi and is attended by participants from Osceola County and the rest of Florida and many other states.
In May of 1987, Osceola County celebrated its Centennial. One of the events held to commemorate our 100th birthday was a trail ride. It proved to be such an enjoyable affair, that a number of local citizens determined to continue the event, and thus was born the Osceola County Wagon Train & Trail Ride. Every year since, the club has put on an annual week long tail ride event. The participants’ camp out all week on local ranches and go out on organized trail rides during the day and at night there is usually some kind of entertainment provided. There is a caterer available to provide food, but some people enjoy preparing their own meals in camp.
